Blake Harrison stars in Maigret on PBS
Billed as the first contemporary television take on Simenon’s novels, the show presents Jules Maigret as an unconventional young detective with something to prove. He’s a rising figure inside the Police Judiciaire whose strength lies in reading people, understanding how the city works, and knowing when to push. The trailer highlights modern police rooms, current forensics, and a fast-moving Paris. The premise is straightforward: Maigret listens, watches, and builds cases by assembling small facts until the picture is clear.
