A new production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest is coming to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre starring Alex Kingston.
The production follows the classic plotline but this time features Prospero played by a woman. The story follows a mother and daughter as they struggle to survive on an island full of strange sounds and wondrous sights. Then one day, their long-lost enemies sail into view on the horizon.
Alex Kingston stars as the lead Prospero, alongside Jessica Rhodes, who plays her daughter, Miranda.
The Tempest will run from 26th January – 4th March 2023 at Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-Upon-Avon.
