David Gant stars in C.S. Lewis biopic ‘The Most Reluctant Convert’

Premiering this week, The Most Reluctant Convert: The Story of C.S. Lewis covers the celebrated author’s bitter childhood, WW1, and formative friendships at Oxford.

Directed by Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker Norman Stone, it traces the spiritual and religious journey of C.S. Lewis from staunch atheist to prolific Christian.

Renowned author Lewis, who most famously wrote The Chronicles of Narnia, sold nearly a quarter of a billion copies of his worldwide. He began his career as a debunker of the Christian faith before making a complete turnaround to become one of the most influential Christian writers of the past century.

David Gant plays William T. Kirkpatrick, an Irish teacher, and grammar school headmaster, who was the tutor of C.S. Lewis and his brothers at school.
