Neve McIntosh joins the cast of All Creatures Great & Small season 4.
The new episodes take place in 1940, with Churchill taking office and tensions mounting in Europe.
James and Helen are now “happily married”, while Tristan is away serving in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps, which prompts James and Siegfried to bring in some extra help to keep things ticking along. Expect some friction following the new additions.
I can’t wait for our audience to see this new season of All Creatures Great and Small,” said Masterpiece exec producer Susanne Simpson. “It continues to be full of the warmth and humour that has made it one of our most successful series ever.”
Exec producer and CEO of Playground Sir Colin Callender CBE added: “We are thrilled to be back in the glorious Yorkshire Dales for a fourth season of family, community and, of course, animal hijinks. Our wonderful cast and crew are all delighted to be returning to adapt more of James Herriot’s joyful and life-affirming stories.”
The new series will begin on Channel 5 on October 5th at 9pm.
