Rory Fleck-Byrne stars in the National Theatre’s latest production of Othello.
The story, one of Shakespeare’s classics, follows a bright headstrong daughter of a senator, and a refugee of slavery, who find love across racial lines. But after they wed in secret, unseen forces conspire against them and they find their future is not theirs to decide.
Rory Fleck-Byrne will star as Cassio alongside a cast of Giles Terera as Othello, Rosy McEwan as Desdemona, Paul Hilton as Iago, and Jack Bardoe as Roderigo.
Clint Dyer directs this new vision of one of Shakespeare’s most enduring tragedies.
Othello will run at the Lyttelton Theatre within the National Theatre from 23rd November 2022 to 21st January 2023.
